    UAE Egypt presidents meet in Cairo to deepen fraternal ties

    President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates met with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in Cairo on Saturday, as the UAE Egypt presidents discuss strengthening fraternal ties in Cairo and advancing cooperation across a broad range of sectors. The leaders held official talks focused on bilateral coordination in development, economic, and investment fields, reaffirming their countries’ shared interest in enhancing stability and prosperity across the region. Discussions emphasized joint strategies to address regional challenges and support long-term growth.

    According to official sources, the meeting reflected a mutual commitment to deepening the longstanding partnership between the UAE and Egypt. The two heads of state reviewed opportunities to expand economic collaboration and accelerate strategic projects that serve both nations’ interests. President El-Sisi hosted an Iftar banquet following the talks, honoring President Sheikh Mohamed and the accompanying Emirati delegation. The gathering underlined the close diplomatic and personal ties between the two leaders, particularly during the Holy Month of Ramadan.

    Among the UAE officials present were Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Zayed bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Dr. Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Khaldoun Khalifa Al Mubarak, and Mariam Al Kaabi, UAE Ambassador to Egypt. From the Egyptian side, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, cabinet ministers, and senior advisors joined the meeting, which focused on strengthening institutional cooperation and enhancing regional coordination.

    The visit also underscored the importance of consistent high-level dialogue between both governments. The UAE Egypt presidents discuss strengthening fraternal ties in Cairo as part of a broader push to reinforce strategic relations. UAE President Sheikh Mohamed concluded the visit with a formal departure from Cairo International Airport, where he was seen off by President El-Sisi and senior Egyptian officials. – By MENA Newswire News Desk.
